Central Parish members
Every member of the Parish of Central Exeter is involved in the
St Stephen's Project in one or more of the seven committees
contributing to the Project or by helping and/or supporting the
numerous fund-raising events taking place. This involvement
has been consistent and enthusiastic over a number of years. The sense of 'doing something for the Exeter
community' is very real.
Community group volunteers
Several times a week, volunteers linked to a local charity or
community group are present in St Stephen's not only to provide
support of members of the visiting public, but to publicise
their activities, seek new members, and raise funds for their
cause. The whole purpose of the St Stephen's Project is to
provide support for these groups of volunteers who do so much
for the social life of Exeter and its surrounding area.
